Our Providers
I’m Kim Wohlwend, MSN, APRN—a dual ANCC board-certified Family and Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide evidence-based care that connects weight and metabolic health, hormone therapy, and mental health. Through multi-state telehealth, I help adults manage obesity (including GLP-1 therapies) and related conditions with a safety-first approach, clear education, and consistent follow-through.
For hormone therapy, I guide patients through perimenopause, menopause, and surgical menopause with individualized plans using options like transdermal estradiol, micronized progesterone, and low-dose vaginal estrogen, and nonhormonal alternatives when appropriate.
For mental health, I offer compassionate, outcomes-focused care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more—integrating medication management with practical skills and lifestyle support. My goal is simple: listen first, use the best evidence, and partner with you to build sustainable mind-and-body health. I hold multi-state licensure (18 states) to make high-quality care accessible wherever my patients are—including NE, IA, VT, NH, FL, ID, KS, SD, ND, UT, NY, CO, KY, MT, AZ, ME, IL, and NM.
Alongside clinical work, I serve as the Nebraska faculty liaison adjunct for APRN students mentoring the next generation of nurse practitioners and championing best practices in patient-centered care.
I currently care for patients nationwide through a leading digital clinic, managing obesity (including GLP-1 therapies)giving me two years of experience in obesity medicine. Before telehealth, I practiced house-call medicine, performing comprehensive in-home assessments and retail clinic healthcare and management, where I practiced autonomously and managed day-to-day operations. Earlier in my career, I cared for patients on postpartum and cardiothoracic step-downunits at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago—experience that cemented my commitment to compassion and patient safety.
I earned my MSN–FNP from Clarkson College (Summa Cum Laude) and completed graduate training in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP), reflecting my belief that mental and physical health are inseparable.
My approach is simple: listen first, use the latest evidence, and partner with you to achieve sustainable results for both mind and body.
